The Excalibur is a high volume
single touring kayak with exceptional handling characteristics named for
the mighty sword that the Lady of the Lake held aloft to Arthur.
This is a very stable boat that is forgiving to lapses by the paddler while
still providing a very efficient hull form for low effort paddling.
An excellent choice for a novice paddler or more experienced paddlers who
simply prefer a boat that is easy to handle yet performs well. Fitted
with large water-resistant compartments fore and aft for gear storage and
floatation, this boat is an excellent choice for anything from day paddling
to longer trips. The large storage areas provide plenty of room
for gear while the hull volume and beam of 25 inches (23 inches at waterline)
pushes the load capacity to approximately 340 lbs
