On-Line Shopping with SeaDog

Our on-line catalog is intended to provide detailed information on our boats and list some of the other items that we have available. It provides a good cross-section but not all of our products.

I'm currently unable to provide kits or finished boats. I'm also in the process of replacing the full sized plans with traditional scaled plans. All prices are listed in $US. All funds must be submitted in $US. We can ship to the US and Canada. Outside of these areas additional charges, taxes, tarifs, etc. may apply and are the customer's responsibility.

Our on-line order form for credit card transactions is processed using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) with 128 bit encryption, the highest industry standard for on-line security. Your order information is encrypted and directly compiled into an e-mail that is sent to our order department. It remains encrypted the entire time that it is being processed right up to the point that we read it for processing. The unencrypted information is never available to anybody outside on our office!

Additionally, we DO NOT store your credit card information on our web server or computer system after shipping your order. Your order information is stored in our database and the credit card information deleted after processing. This provides additional security against hackers, there is nothing on our system to steal even if they could break in!

Plans are usually shipped within 72 hours of receipt of your order. Kits are typically shipped within one week but may take up to two to three weeks. Orders for boats will be confirmed with an expected delivery date. Boats typically take 2 - 3 months for production but may be longer based on backlog.

Your credit card will not be billed until your order is shipped except in the case of down payments on boats.

The shipping cost for each item is shown in the shopping cart. Finished boats and kits are shipped by common freight carrier and shipping costs may vary from the charge indicated in the shopping cart. If the charge will be more than indicated, you will be notified of the actual charge with our confirmation of receipt of your order. There is an extra charge of $35 - $45 to deliver to residential addresses that can be avoided by customer pick up at the freight terminal. Other items are shiped via UPS or USPS.

Any merchandise that you receive from SeaDog Boats that doesn't meet your satisfaction for any reason can be returned in new condition for a full refund. We will also pay for return shipping if the merchandise is defective or does not match your order. Just call us for return authorization before shipping.

Please inspect your purchase immediately on receipt for signs of damage. Damaged shipments must be reported to SeaDog and the shipper within one day to maintain insurance/replacement coverage.

All merchandise that SeaDog sells is covered by the original manufacturer's warranty. Boats that SeaDog produces are covered by SeaDog's warranty. SeaDog warrants that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 3 years. SeaDog Boats will repair or replace the original product at our discretion. SeaDog Boats will not be liable for costs other than repair or replacement of the defective product, including consequential damages or damages due to loss of use.

This warranty may give the purchaser additional rights.
